Southsea singer and guitarist brings joy with quarantined music live stream gig
A SINGER and guitarist, who usually entertains cruise ship guests and graces stages across the world, is bringing joy by playing music requests over Facebook live stream.
Will Tierney is broadcasting live gigs from his home in Southsea to fans across the world to bring a bit of positivity to everyone in quarantine.
The 31-year-old said: ‘As everyone is stuck inside at the moment and need to find entertainment I thought I would do some livestream gigs to keep people’s spirits up here at home and across the world as well.
‘Usually I am entertaining cruise passengers or on a stage so it was really nice to do something a bit more free and my wife and daughter joined in as well which people seemed to really like.’

An Abba medley, Johnny Cash, Adele and George Ezra are just some the requests he had for his first live gig and he hopes to reach more people with another live gig in a few weeks.
Will said: ‘I think at a time when people are feeling a bit down and lost, music is the best thing.’
The father-of-one is waiting on help from the government's self-employment scheme and has also added an online tip jar to his live stream.
He added: ‘Luckily I have been self-employed for a few years so will get some help. I’m not expecting much from the tip jar but it’s there for people to buy me a virtual pint!’
