The clean up begins after 150,000 people descend on Southsea Common for Victorious Festival 2026

The day after the night before

While festival-goers may be waking up this morning with heavy heads, for others the hard work starts now.

After 150,000 people descended on Southsea Common for Victorious Festival between August 28 and 30, the clean up has started. On Monday, August 31, less than 24 hours after Kasabian closed out the festival on the Common Stage, the site is deserted with only the clean up teams and the odd dog walker to be found.

It was not just about the music though, with the festival boasting one of the biggest kids area of any UK festival, complete with fairground rides, parkour stations, and even professional wrestling displays.

With so much packed into the festival, the dismantling and clean-up is a big job.
