Tim Peake's fly-past video shows Britain shining bright
It's almost as though you could spot your house if you looked hard enough.
A stunning timelapse video by astronaut Tim Peake shows night-time Britain illuminated by millions of lights.
The spaceman from Westbourne near Chichester posted the 17-second clip on his Twitter account, saying: ‘A #timelapse flight over UK and Northern Europe. I try to wave every time I can.’
Major Peake has posted several stunning pictures and videos from the International Space Station as it hurtles around the world at 17,000mph.
