Twenty tonnes of hay extinguished in Waterlooville farm blaze

Fire crews put out the haystack fire on New Barn Farm Lane, Waterlooville, just after 5pm on Thursday.

Two hose reels were used with damping down carried out by firefighters from Waterlooville and Horndean.

The farmer is keeping a ‘watchful eye’ following the incident.
