Two people in this Portchester postcode are £1,000 richer thanks to the People's Postcode Lottery

The West Street neighbours netted the windfall when PO16 9UG was announced as a Daily Prize winner on Tuesday November 24.

People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Danyl Johnson sent his well-wishes to the winners: ‘Congratulations to all the winners in PO16 9UG – brilliant news.

‘I hope you enjoy spending your winnings.’

A minimum of 32 per of ticket sales goes directly to charities, with players of the People’s Postcode Lottery raising more than £600 million to date for thousands of good causes in Britain and abroad.

This draw was promoted on behalf of the Postcode Care Trust Postcode Care Trust which has a mission to support activities that improve the health and lives of communities.

Many good causes close to the winners have also benefitted from players’ support, and local charities can apply for funding next year.
