In the first episode of the podcast called That Dressing Rooms Episode, Crouch recalls training at the navy base in Portsmouth.

He said: '˜I've been there when the dressing rooms were terrible porta-cabins.

'˜When I first started at QPR and Portsmouth, we were in porta-cabins and now it's gone full circle, it's like a health club.

'˜We trained at the navy base (at Portsmouth), obviously didn't have much money and we were in port-a-cabins.

'Then we would go over and go and have lunch with the navy guys and they hated us, they hated us.

'You could see them all marching and we were a shambles.

'˜Rolling up parking in wherever and they were marching in totally orderly.

'˜Footballers in general don't have much order, certainly when they are at the training ground. But it was good fun.'

That Peter Crouch podcast is a 12-part series from BBC 5 Live, with episodes streaming weekly.

Crouch is joined by co-hosts Tom Fordyce and Chris Stark.Â
