A TEENAGER who was found dead at a controversial music festival has been named.

Hampshire police said Olivia Christopher, 18, from The Grove, Latimer, Chesham, in Buckinghamshire, was found dead in a tent on Monday at the Boomtown Fair in Winchester.

Investigations are continuing into the death of the teenager, known as Livvy.

Police said her death is not being treated as suspicious.

A spokesman said: ‘Officers are continuing to work closely with Boomtown organisers and witnesses and friends who were at the event are being supported.’

It comes as the festival has been surrounded in controversy after 80 cars were destroyed and another dozen damaged in a blaze ignited by a discarded cigarette.

Separately police also revealed £134,000-worth of drugs were recovered.
