Brexit secretary Dominic Raab quits over Prime Minister's EU withdrawal dealÂ
The MP for Esher and Walton announced his resignation this morning (November 15) saying that he could not in '˜good conscience' support the terms proposed by Theresa May.Â
He tweeted: '˜Today, I have resigned as Brexit Secretary. I cannot in good conscience support the terms proposed for our deal with the EU.

Mr Raab's became Brexit Secretary in July following the resignation of David Davis over Mrs May's Chequers proposals.Â
He is the third MP to resign from the cabinet over Brexit in the last week, following Transport Minister Jo Johnson on Friday (November 9) and Shailesh Vara who quit as Northern Ireland minister today.Â
Portsmouth North MP Penny Mordaunt was rumoured to be considering resigning from her position as International development secretary over Mrs May's deal yesterday (November 14) but downplayed the speculation.Â

Hide AdWork and Pension secretary Esther McVey, who was said to have argued against the Brexit agreement and called for a Cabinet vote, was tight-lipped on the matter on Thursday morning.
