The recreation facility in Bridgemary was first sealed off on Thursday. But youths knocked down fence ‘within 24 hours’.

Gosport police said that when contractors attended to repair the barriers, they were verbally abused by a group of 15 youngsters.

Issue a warning to parents over Twitter, the force said: ‘The site has now been secured once more and we would like to ask parents to remind children not to attend the park until access is permitted again.

‘Officers will be patrolling the area and will deal accordingly with any trespass or Covid-19 breaches.’
