Hampshire residents warned that dropping items outside recycling and house waste centres is still fly-tipping
The advice from Hampshire County Council also included a warning that any form of fly-tipping is a criminal offence - including leaving unwanted items outside waste and recycling centres.
Councillor Rob Humby, deputy leader at the county council, said: ‘I understand that, while many people will be doing their best to reduce their household waste, many have concerns about fly-tipping at this time.

Cllr Humby added: ‘I would therefore urge Hampshire residents to think carefully before generating extra household waste material and particularly how it can be stored at home for the time being.’
