As previously reported Portsmouth City Council is exploring options for a new 4,000 home development in the north of the city, which could be part-built on reclaimed land.

If proposals go ahead it is also hoped the Tipner West site will include an underground 'podium' for car parking and storage, leaving the roads car-free and pedestrian-friendly.
