HMS Queen Elizabeth: Here's how Royal Navy aircraft marked Remembrance SundayÂ

The crew of the Royal Navy's aircraft carrier paused to remember all the soldiers who have fallen in First World War and other conflicts on Sunday (November 11).

Remembrance Day marked the hundredth anniversary of the end of the Great War - with the guns falling silent on the 11th hour, of the 11th day of the 11th month in 1918.

A remembrance service was held on the decks of the HMS Queen Elizabeth, which is currently in America carrying out historic flight tests. 

The warship's official account tweeted: '˜They shall grow not old as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.

'˜At the going down of the sun and in the morning, We will remember them.' 

A video was attached to the tweet, showing footage of the service on the decks of the HMS Queen Elizabeth on Sunday.
