The council sees a new face join returning members - with Jean Kelly winning the Portchester East ward.
The retired teacher and wife of Councillor Gerry Kelly takes on former councillor Shaun Cunningham's old seat, after he resigned from the Liberal Democrats and indicated his leaving politics earlier this year.
Cllr Jean Kelly said: 'I'm just grateful that the residents have put alot of trust in me. I am a trustee for the Portchester Community Association and I have helped out there for the last 12 years.
'It seems this election has gone along national lines with issues like vaccines and Covid-19 dominating.
'But it is local knowledge that is fundamental to winning.
'The most important thing is raising the profile of the precinct (in Portchester). It needs a lot of work doing to it.'
