West Sussex County Council said it is stopping its 3in1 bus travel card on December 31.
But the authority says financial help will still continue for low-income families.

But the council says only 6,000 students from a potential 116,000 use it – at a cost to the authority of £1.2m a year.
The council’s transport boss, Cllr John O’Brien, said: ‘This was a difficult decision to take but we are all living and working in one of the most financially-challenging times local government has ever known.’
He added financial aid will be available for families impacted by the move.
