Video shows litter strewn across bandstand site

The film was shot by Kelly Turner, who was one of the thousands of people who enjoyed a free 90s music show on Sunday.

She was one of those appalled by the amount of litter left on the site.

Kelly, who posted her video to our Facebook page, said: ‘I helped pick some rubbish and put by the bins.

‘I thought that may have spurred people on but they looked at me like I was a loony!’

There were complaints about the amount of litter left behind but Portsmouth City Council leader Donna Jones says those who expressed concern should ‘get a life.’
