Portchester sailing club gets two new training boats
A SAILING club has been given a boost after receiving two new training dinqhies.
Fundraising group the Fareham Lions has handed over the two ‘indestructible’ dinghies to Portchester Sailing Club with the hope that they will be used to train new young sailors.
The boats arrived last Saturday at the club in Waterside Lane and are set to be used in the club’s sailing courses.
Jim Watson, commodore of the club said they were ‘delighted’ with the new boats.
