‘A glitz-and-glamour black-tie event with some great entertainment from the sensational Tom Canning and Steve Kingsley along with a harpist and saxophonist.’

Ms Emery said the firm TY UK had donated a Valentine’s bear for all attendees. She said: ‘Anyone who has attended my events before will know what a great night it will be.’

Charities benefiting from the ball include the Portsmouth Deaf Centre, Portsmouth Association for the Blind, Portsmouth Breast Friends and Portsmouth Samaritans. For tickets, call 07818 088332 or e-mail [email protected]. The ball is sponsored by AndiCars and Richmond Hyundai.
