School charity day raises £350
AN INFANT school raised money to support servicemen, women and their families.
Crofton Hammond Infant School in Fareham held a Red White Blue day in honour of the charity with the same name with a crew from HMS Collingwood.
Headteacher Jacky Halton said: ‘The children all enjoyed a fabulous day raising money for Red, White and Blue day.
‘We were particularly pleased to be celebrating the centenary of the Wrens and learning about the role that women have played in the Royal Navy.’
