There will also be a live cooking demonstration from Joe Baker, head chef at the Rick Stein seafood restaurant in Winchester.

Local sea anglers Dan Sissons and Dick Stubbs will be holding a talk around the new rules and regulations surrounding sea bass angling.

Southsea Marina manager Rubert Bremer said: ‘The marina sits on the threshold of the Solent and attracts yachts, fishing boats and motorboats alike.

‘This show will not only be of interest to the growing and active fishing community, but there will be something of interest to all kinds of boaters as we will be holding a free flares disposal service on the day.’
