Teenage girl, 17, sexually assaulted in Portsmouth city centre

A teenage girl was sexually assaulted by a man riding a bike in Portsmouth city centre.Â

The victim, who is 17, was walking home alone in Arundel Street at around 12.50am on the morning of Saturday, November 3. 

A man on a bicycle came alongside her and smacked her on the bottom. She shouted at him to go away and continued walking.

He rode off and she continued walking. As she reached St John's School, the same man approached her on his bike again and pushed her against a fence.

The girl, who is from Portsmouth, screamed loudly and the man rode off.

The man is described as being in his late 20s and tanned. He was about five foot six inches tall and of medium build.

He had short dark hair which was short but quite full on the top and a small moustache.

She described him as speaking with a strong Asian accent.
