A3 southbound incident leaves lane blocked between B2070 Buriton and Chalton Lane, Clanfield

The A3 southbound is down to one lane due to an incident between Buriton and the Chalton Lane turn off at Clanfield. Delays are currently being experienced of around eleven minutes but that is expected to increase.

A post by Hampshire traffic and Travel on X said: “A3 Southbound - One lane BLOCKED between B2070 #Buriton and Chalton Ln Clanfield due to an incident, delays from A272 Sheet.”

AA traffic news are reporting: “Reports of traffic problem and delays on A3 Southbound at A3 (Buriton Turn Off). Sensors are indicating an accident however this is unconfirmed. Severe delays of eleven minutes and delays increasing on A3 Southbound in Hampshire. Average speed 15 mph.”
