Accident on M27 near Portsmouth causing delays after lanes blocked

AN accident on the M27 is causing delays after two lanes were blocked as rush hour traffic builds.

The incident, which happened around 4.45pm, took place eastbound at junction 12 near Portsmouth.

Two lanes are blocked at the stretch between the M275 and A27.

Up to 35 minute delays from junction 10 are being reported.

It is not known how many cars were involved in the accident.
