BREAKING: Gosport Royal Mail sorting office closed after chemical leak

Five engines from Hampshire Fire & Rescue Service were called to the building on Mill Road, Gosport at 11.20am. They are currently investigating at the scene.

Police officers are co-ordinating traffic around the scene. There are reports of heavy traffic on Forton Road and Brockhurst Road.

Dale Fletcher, from Gosport, said that he was going to the sorting office to collect a recorded delivery before being told by a member of staff that the office would be closed for at least the rest of the day.
