Commuters told to expect 'delays of 80 minutes' out of Portsmouth and Havant after M27 crash

Three vehicles are reported to have been involved in the collision along the westbound carriageway of the motorway between Junction 12 near Port Solent and Junction 11 at Fareham.

Three lanes have been blocked creating nightmare traffic for commuters in Portsmouth and Havant.

Romanse, Hampshire County Council’s live traffic report on Twitter, posted: ‘Lanes 2, 3 and 4 remain BLOCKED between J12/#M275 #PortSolent and J11/A27 #Fareham due to RTI, approx 80 mins delay from A3023 #Langstone Rbt.’

***UPDATE***

The three lanes on the M27 have now been cleared with traffic easing, though motorists are still being warned of up to an hour delays.

Romanse posted: ‘Westbound - Lanes 2, 3 and 4 now CLEARED between J12/#M275 #PortSolent and J11/A27 #Fareham after the earlier RTI, approx 1 HOUR delay remains from A3023 #Langstone Rbt.’
