Crammed-in cars - is this the worst parking spot in Portsmouth?

The photograph was taken by Barry Attrill in Tower Road, off Haslemere Road.

He sent it to our Facebook page saying: ‘This is how stupid parking is getting down our road.

‘Where the silver BMW Estate is parked, there is somebody’s garage. It took him ages to get in there - goodness knows how the white BMW would get out if it wanted to!’

The picture is the latest to be sent to us by residents frustrated that they regularly are unable to find a parking place near to home.

In February there were calls for a crackdown on van parking after we published a photograph of congested Chichester Road in North End.
