Damage to machinery and road signs in South Harting results in delays to completion of roadworks

Damage to roadwork machinery and road signs has caused delays for the completion of work.
Investigations are ongoing after the police have received reorts of damage being caused to machinery and signage at a roadworks site. As a result, part of the B2146 in South Harting, Chichester, has been closed in both directions and diversions are in place.
The Chichester Police Facebook wrote: “This is delaying completion of the roadworks. Any information regarding the damage would be welcomed, and will assist in this ongoing investigation.”
