Delays building on routes into Portsmouth ahead of rush hour traffic as Eastern Road remains closed
Traffic is building into Portsmouth ahead of rush hour with the Eastern Road closed.
The major routes into Portsmouth are seeing a build up of slow traffic, including on the M275, on Tuesday, January 6.

It is the second day of the Eastern Road closure as Southern Water begins work on a £2.5 million project to fix a burst sewer main. The closure southbound between Burrfields Road and Hayling Avenue has seen delays for drivers on Copnor Road with traffic diverted down Burrfields Road.
Those delays are extending to other routes into the city with the M275 currently seeing heavy traffic from the M27 junction 12 to the A3 Mile End Road.
AA Traffic News have reported average speeds of 15 miles per hour with delays increasing.
