Emergency services called after person hit by train near Liss

British Transport Police were called at about 8.45pm after someone was hit by a train near Liss.

Train services between Havant and Haslemere are facing major disruption as emergency services deal with the incident.

While the condition of the person is not yet known, disruption is expected until services terminate tonight.

South West Trains – which runs between the two stations – has advised passengers that trains may be cancelled, delayed or revised.

The South Central Ambulance Service has been approached for more information.
