Highways England confirm M27 has been reopened

HIGHWAYS England have confirmed the M27  between Portsmouth and Fareham has been reopened.

The road had been closed in both directions between Junction 9 and 11 to allow the demolition of North Fareham Footbridge.

The M27 was closed at 9pm on Friday and was scheduled to remain shut until 9pm on Saturday. Highways England confirmed last night that the road is now open as usual.
