Three people injured in crash near Portsbridge Roundabout in Portsmouth resulting in M27 closure
Closures were enforced so repairs could be made at the scene
Three people have been injured following a crash which caused road closures over the weekend.
Emergency services rushed to the scene of the collision near the Portsbridge Roundabout on Saturday (October 17). Multiple reports were made about the incident on the M27 eastbound, just past Junction 12 for Portsmouth.

The eastbound slip road onto the A27 from the Portsbridge roundabout was closed, which resulted in delays in Cosham and Hilsea. Motorists heading towards the A27 for Havant were disrupted, as well as those leaving Portsmouth via the M275.
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary said officers were called at 10.58am following a collision between a light grey Range Rover and a blue Hyundai. The force is appealing for witnesses to come forward, and for dash cam footage to be provided as part of their investigation.
“Three people suffered minor injuries,” police added. “We thank drivers for their patience as road closures were put in place to repair barriers and a lamppost damaged in the incident.
“As part of our ongoing investigation, we would like to speak to anyone who witnessed this collision and anyone with relevant dashcam footage from the area around the time of the incident. If you have any information, please call 101 quoting reference 44260510325.”
