Traffic warning issued as police say major Hampshire road will be closed '˜for some time' after minibus crash

The A34 is closed southbound after the accident at 4.40am today at Bullington Cross, just south of Sutton Scotney services.

One person had to be cut free from the vehicle.

Police believe only the minibus was involved in the crash.

Diversions have been put in place.

A police spokesman said: ‘The road is likely to be shut for sometime while the incident is dealt with. We’d ask motorists to avoid the area if possible for now and would like to thank them for their co-operation.’
