TRAVEL AND WEATHER: Rain set to dampen Valentine's Day in Portsmouth
AFTER a dry start, thickening cloud is set to roll in across the Portsmouth area '“ bringing with it breezy weather and light rain.
The weather is set to deteriorate this afternoon with maximum temperatures in the city reaching eight degrees.
On the roads, traffic is flowing relatively freely with only small delays at the usual routes in and out of the area.

Hide AdThere have been no reported incidents on any of the area’s major highways and motorways.
Commuters on the trains faced minor disruption on lines from Portsmouth Southsea towards Brighton and London Victoria following a fault in Ford.
However, Southern Rail says the error has been rectified and expect normal services to resume.
