UPDATE: Newgate Lane re-opened following crash

A main road between Gosport and Fareham is now open after a crash this afternoon.

Newgate Lane is now open following the collision that involved a lorry and two cars.

The road was shut in both directions between HMS Collingwood and Tanners Lane.

Hampshire Police said there had been no serious injuries but one person was reported trapped in the wreckage of a vehicle, with firefighters working to rescue the casualty.

Drivers can still expect delays.
