WATCH: 8,500 tonne concrete structure slid onto M27
A video shows a 8,500 tonne concrete structure being slid onto the M27 as part of major works over the festive period.
The underpass structure was moved into place late on Boxing Day with footage capturing the scene on Saturday morning.
The motorway is currently closed in both directions between Junctions 9 (Whiteley) and 11 (Fareham), with the road expected to re-open at 4am on Sunday, January 4. Drivers are being advised to plan ahead to avoid severe delays.
