A32 fatal crash: Family pay tribute to 'wonderful' Hampshire woman who died

TRIBUTES have been paid to a ‘wonderful’ young woman who died in a two-car crash.

Melissa Orsborn, 20, was the passenger in a grey BMW when it crashed with a silver Volkswagen Golf on February 4 between Wickham and Droxford.

The 8pm crash by the Cott Street junction, near Swanmore, involved two women and a man, paramedics previously said.

Today Ms Osborn’s family have paid tribute ami a police investigation.

Police were called just around 8pm on Thursday 4 February to the incident, involving a grey BMW and a silver Volkswagen Golf.

In a statement issued by Hampshire police, they said: ‘She will sadly be missed by family and friends.’

Her family said Odiham-based Ms Osborn was ‘a wonderful, beautiful, loving and caring young woman’.

A police spokeswoman added: ‘Enquiries into the exact circumstances of the collision are ongoing.

‘Were you in the area at the time? Perhaps you saw either of the vehicles in the moments leading to the collision or you have dash-cam footage?’

Police officers, four fire crews, and six paramedic crews from across the county were called to the crash.
