Crash closes M27 westbound and causes delays

A COLLISION closed the M27 near Fareham this morning.

The westbound M27 was blocked between Junction 10/A32 Fareham and Junction 9/A27 Park Gate this morning at approximately 10am.

The incident saw delays, but it has now been cleared.

A tweet from ROMANSE, the travel update service from Hampshire County Council, said: ‘#M27 Westbound - Lane 1 BLOCKED between J10/A32 #Fareham and J9/A27 #ParkGate due to RTI, delays on approach.’

The motorway was cleared by 10.50am.
