Police were called to both collisions this morning.

Latest traffic news

A force spokeswoman said: ‘We were called at 6.59am to reports of a single vehicle collision on the M275 southbound, near to the Park and Ride exit, after a white Ford Fiesta was in collision with the central reservation. The vehicle was blocking two lanes, a lane closure was put into place to allow us to deal with this incident. No injuries were reported.

‘We were then called at 7.18 to reports of a collision on the A27 eastbound, just past the Eastern Road flyover. The collision involved a Vauxhall Astra and a Ford Focus. No injuries have been reported.

‘The latter should be cleared now, both vehicles have been recovered.’

The crashes have happened as heavy rain is forecast across the Portsmouth area for this morning and most of the afternoon.
