First Bus diversions out of Southampton to Portsmouth after water main burst

A BURST water main has caused an outbound diversion of bus routes from Southampton to Portsmouth this morning.

The burst pipe by Dock Gate 4 at Queens Park has led to First Portsmouth diverting its X4 and X5 services via Bernard Street, Threefield Lane, Marsh Lane and back onto its normal route at Central Bridge.

The diversion only applies to routes out of Southampton and not those heading into the city.
