Gosport police issue warning over 'faulty' traffic lights with 'mind of their own'

POLICE have warned motorists and pedestrians over ‘faulty’ traffic lights in Gosport that have a ‘mind of their own’.

Traffic lights on South Street by The Discovery Centre are currently not working correctly.

Despite this, Gosport police said there have been no traffic issues.

Engineers have been sent to fix the problem.

Gosport police posted a video of the haphazard lights on Twitter along with a message, which said: ‘(The traffic lights) currently have a mind of their own. We are aware of this issue.

‘An automatic error code will have been sent and engineers will be out to fix the problem. It's not causing any traffic issues at this time.’
