M27 crash: Two hour delays between Fareham and Southampton on eastbound side of motorway

Following an earlier road traffic incident (RTI) two lanes are blocked on the eastbound carriageway of the motorway.

The disruption is between junction 8 and junction 9, near Fareham.

ROMANSE, Hampshire County Council’s traffic account, is reporting that delays are stretching back to Eastleigh.

In a post on Twitter, the account wrote: ‘M27 Eastbound - Lanes 1 and 2 remain BLOCKED between J8/A3024 Bursledon and J9/A27 Park Gate due to RTI, approx 2 HOURS delay from J5/A335 Eastleigh.’
