M27 delays due to broken down lorry

MOTORISTS are facing delays on the M27 this afternoon due to a broken down lorry.

The incident happened on the eastbound carriageway between junction 5, for Eastleigh, and junction 7, for Hedge End.

One lane is currently blocked due to the broken down HGV.

Hampshire County Council’s ROMANSE traffic account is warning motorists to ‘expect delays’.

They tweeted: ‘#M27 Eastbound - Lane 1 BLOCKED between J5/A335 #Eastleigh and J7/A334 #HedgeEnd due to a broken down HGV, expect delays.’
