Police incident blocks all train lines between Portsmouth Harbour and Havant

TRAIN lines between Portsmouth Harbour and Havant have been blocked as police deal with an incident tonight.

Power to the train tracks has been turned off as officers deal with the incident and response teams from South Western Railway are also helping.

South Western Railway tweeted: ‘ Due to police dealing with an incident between Portsmouth Harbour and Havant all lines are blocked.

Train services running to and from these stations may be cancelled, delayed or revised. Disruption is expected until the end of the day.’

‘Our response teams along with the police are making their way to site, until they are there and have assessed the situation no trains will run in the area, and all power to the track has been turned off.

Southern trains between London Victoria / Brighton / Portsmouth Harbour / Littlehampton and Portsmouth Harbour are also affected.
