Road traffic incident sees police close Meon Valley road

A ROAD in the Meon Valley was closed by police after a road traffic incident.

Officers closed the Botley Road B3035 from Bishop’s Waltham on Sunday at 7pm.

Drivers were warned to take an alternative route.

A Tweet from Winchester Police said: ‘**ROAD CLOSURE*** Botley Road B3035 due to Road Traffic Accident. Please take an alternative road #BishopsWaltham.’

The road was reopened by 10pm.
