Heavy rain is expected to last until the evening in Portsmouth, despite the weather warning being lifted.
Firefighters had to rescue a motorist stranded in standing water caused by the downpours brought by the storm.
There have also been a number of incidents on roads across the county this weekend, with traffic police warning drivers to ‘think and slow down’ during the stormy conditions.
