Train lines between Portsmouth Harbour and Havant reopen after trespassers on track

TRAIN lines between Portsmouth Harbour and Havant have reopened following a trespassing incident.

Power was turned off on the tracks as police and train response teams dealt with trespassers.

Commuters have been warned that delays to services remain.

A tweet from Southern Rail said: ‘Following trespassers on the railway between Portsmouth Harbour and Havant all lines have now reopened.

‘Services are now able to run through the area, however services will still be subject to delays and cancellations.’

Southern tickets will be accepted at no extra cost on South Western Railway services, on any reasonable route towards Portsmouth.
