Tricolore and Union Jack flown at half-mast at Hampshire County Council offices
As a mark of respect and expression of solidarity, the Tricolore was flown at half-mast alongside the Union Jack at the council offices in Winchester yesterday.
Staff and councillors also joined the Europe-wide minute’s silence observed at 11am yesterday morning.

Hide AdCouncil leader Roy Perry, who was one of the founding co-chairmen of Hampshire’s Interfaith Network, which promotes mutual understanding between people of faith, spoke of his horror at the attacks.
He said: ‘These attacks were horrific and appalling, and we share the shock and profound sadness that is being felt across Europe.
‘Our thoughts go out to the families of all those individuals who were killed and injured.’
