James Crespi, chief operating officer of the West Wittering Estate, has issued some further advice to beachgoers.

People have been asked not to travel to the beach without a ticket, as there is no available parking in the village.

Visitors are also warned to ensure they maintain social distancing when on the beach this weekend.

People looking to visit in the following week can go to the JustPark app to book a parking space.
