WATCH: Bungling raiders caught on CCTV

They entered by using their car to ram into the front door of Denhams jewellers in Harborough, Leics., at which point a nearby resident called the police.

During the comical 53 second video, the pair - dressed in matching tracksuits and carrying plastic bins - are seen blundering around , awkwardly bumping into one another.

One of the clueless men then appears to flee from the darkened store, whilst the other darts towards a locked glass cabinet.

After briefly fumbling around in an attempt to open it, he is then shot hitting it with his bin, before feebly kicking and pushing it.

When his attempts to break into the cabinet failed, the man rushed out of the store with his partner, both empty-handed.

The raid happened at around 1.05am on Tuesday May 2.
