Water crew saves lady
AN ELDERLY woman was rescued from a flood by a specialist firefighter crew.
A burst water main flooded the woman’s bungalow with up to 2ft of water inside and 3ft outside.
Fareham water rescue team carried her out and took her to safety.
Around 17 homes were affected by the burst water main on Saturday.
It happened at 10.36am in Mallard Garden in Hedge End.
