Waterlooville music festival begins

A WEEK-long music festival will kick off with a town's annual summer fete.

Waterlooville summer fete takes place at St George’s Church on Saturday and is themed around the Queen’s 90th birthday. Waterlooville Music Festival begins on the same day.

Publicity officer Chris Gadd said: ‘We have music in the town supplied by Market Place Music and at the church fete the music will be provided by HMS Collingwood Band, Urban Vocal Group and Gospel Road Community Choir. It gets our music festival off to a truly fabulous start.’

The event starts at 9.30am and finishes at 1.30pm.
